Course Details:
Every student needs to be in the classroom in order to learn and feel connected to their teacher and peers. When it is harder for educators to create the conditions where students can be successful, a problem-solving mindset is required.
Implementing the Catalyst Foundational Skills along with increased cognitive knowledge and understanding of students’ complex needs increases educators’ success with the students who are most likely to be misunderstood, marginalized, and misrepresented.

Understand why some of the most common classroom practices have unintended negative impacts on students.
Identify the characteristics of students who are most likely to be misunderstood, marginalized, and misrepresented by others.
